Whatever the size of your company from SME to large corporate a well trained workforce is key to delivering a competitive advantage. As part of our Free Training Needs Analysis we will advise you of your eligibility to access grants for certain categories of training.

Train to Gain

Brooklands College is offering the Government's flagship programme Train to Gain to support businesses in Surrey.

Train to Gain offers: -

• Free courses and training to help employees gain selected full level 2 qualifications (5 GCSE grades at A to C or equivalent)
• A wide range of training for low skilled staff such as Skills for Life
• The possibility of wage compensation for companies with less than 50 employees to cover the cost of time spent training
• Employees demonstrating level 3 capability with no existing level 2 qualification can access level 3 provision.
• Full level 3 qualifications available at minimum cost

European Social Fund

For employees who are not eligible for Train to Gain, further funding for your courses and training is available from the European Social Fund, in the form of grants for a selected range of qualifications. If your business is in Surrey and has less than 250 employees, you may be eligible for these grants. Brooklands College have a dedicated Skills Adviser on-site who wants to help businesses access these grants and would welcome an opportunity to discuss the scheme with you
