Careers and Work Placement Services

Careers Service

The Careers Team provide current and prospective students with advice and guidance and access to a range of careers information to meet their needs.  We offer a welcoming, supportive and motivating environment in which students can discuss opportunities, identify their skills, interests and abilities and make informed decisions about their future.

Students can receive help with applying for Higher Education courses, jobs and any other career-related matters such as CV writing and interview skills.
We work closely with the Progression Mentors to support the tutorial process and to ensure smooth transitions for every student.

Current students can access our online resources by visiting the Virtual Learning Environment

The Careers Team can also support you if you are currently employed, but looking to change direction or at risk of redundancy. This FREE Careers Advice Service will help you stand out from the crowd, get noticed and make those important next steps. Register your interest here and one of our careers advisors will contact you to make an appointment.
