We are always looking to give our students a well-rounded and fulfilling learning experience while preparing to head out on their career journeys. In order to support this, we have several students led groups that all enrolled Brooklands students are welcome to take part in.
Brooklands College values diversity and strives to create a welcoming community in which all individuals are respected and included. The entire Brooklands community, staff and students alike, are called upon to play a role in our ensuring our commitment to diversity and inclusion is a reality. We support respectful and meaningful inquiry across differences, including; ability, age, appearance, ethnicity, family/marital status, gender, gender expression, immigration status, language, nationality, political ideology, race, religion, sexuality, socio-economic status, and other personal identities and experiences. The working environment is changing, becoming more interconnected and interdependent; it is paramount that our learners are equipped to thrive in this environment. The ability to include, communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with diverse individuals is important. We therefore engage in dialogue around issues of difference, identity, and ideology in the classroom and throughout campus. Through embracing diversity, our views are widened and our community strengthened.
