    The aim of this qualification is to introduce you to using computerised account software.

    What will the course involve?

    The introductory level consists of:

    Computerised accounts

    • Creating accounts using computerised accounts software
    • Processing accounting information using software
    • Understanding how to use batch control sheets
    • Producing reports using computerised software

    This is the perfect starting point if you want to carry out basic finance and administrative duties using accounting software packages.
    This is basic entry-level qualification

    Course Suitability

    The aim of this qualification is to introduce you to using computerised account software.  The course is suitable for those students wishing to gain a basic understanding of computerised accounting or already have a basic knowledge of manual bookkeeping.  You will learn how to confidently carry out routine accounting tasks to use in your own business or as part of a larger finance team.

    Additional Costs

    Course fee includes exam fees.  AAT Membership - £40.
    Both the course fee and AAT membership are FREE to the unemployed. The AAT membership fee will be paid separately to the AAT.

    Students are allocated a certain amount of free printing, after which a small fee will be incurred.

    All students will be subject to a £25 registration fee per academic year.
