Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD)

The CIPD is the largest HR professional body in Europe with over 135,000 members. It is very supportive to those responsible for the management and development of people within organisations.

By studying for and obtaining this qualification you will benefit by growing into a highly competent HR professional with greater confidence and strong people and business skills. You will be working towards a well-recognised (often mandatory) qualification for HR practitioners in organisations and you will have enhanced career prospects with a clear route to HR competencies and qualifications which may lead on to more senior jobs in HR. The course is also suitable for those individuals who are interested in upskilling and a career in HR.

This course is offered as FastTrack, with all lessons delivered remotely on a Wednesday 9am - 16.45pm and occassional Saturday attendance is required.

What will the course involve?

The programme consists of 6 modules:

• Developing Yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner
• Understanding Organisations and the role of Human Resources
• Recording, Analysing and Using Human Resources Information
• Resourcing Talent
• Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations
• Delivering Learning and Development Activities

The qualification is suitable for those:

• wanting to gain the essential knowledge and skills required to move into HR or L&D
• working in an HR or L&D support role but who do not hold a formal HR or L&D qualification
• line managers with responsibility for people management and developmen
