    NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3)

    This course covers the practical and theoretical aspects of dental nursing, to provide a safe, organised surgery for the patient and the dental health team. 
    The course is held one evening a week for 30 weeks with the examination being taken in September of the following year.

    Entry Requirements

    What qualifications will I need?

    You will need to have a good standard of literacy in order to study and produce the written work for the course.

    You will also need to be working at least 16 hours a week in a dental surgery as a dental nurse. This is due to the practical experience time necessary to be able to complete the coursework required to sit the exam. Your role should be in a general dental environment, if it is within a specialist practice (orthodontic or endodontic for example) or oral surgery department within a hospital then you would also need to be able to work in a general dental environment to get experience of routine dentistry.

    We have been contacted by a dental surgery, Ham Dental Practice, located in Kingston (Surrey). The practice are looking to recruit dental nurses. Hourly rate from £9, which may be negotiable.     Additional Costs

    All students are subject to a £25 registration fee per academic year.

    Each student will receive a print allowance at the start of their course, should they require additional printing beyond this limit, they will be charged.
