This valuable course will help you develop essential maths skills, including:

  • Basic Arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Data Handling: Reading and interpreting graphs and charts, collecting and organising data, and basic data analysis (mean, median, mode).
  • Problem-Solving: Applying mathematical concepts to real-world workplace scenarios, developing problem-solving strategies, and estimating and checking answers.
  • Financial Mathematics: Calculating wages, budgeting and financial planning, and understanding interest rates and loans.

What will the course involve?

  • Weekly sessions of 3 hours for 7 weeks. Running on Mondays and/or Fridays.
  • Based at Brooklands Technical College, Weybridge Campus.

Entry Requirements

What qualifications will I need?

  • Students must have been a UK resident for the last 3 years and they must be age 19 and over.
  • Students must not have achieved a Grade 4 (C equivalent) or above in Maths GCSE.
