The course is about food safety and the implications of food poisoning, including how it occurs, what precautions we should take and the consequences of having a food poisoning outbreak.
The course covers the three different types of food poisoning - Bacterial, Chemical and Physical and is designed to introduce the first principles of food hygiene in any working environment.

The course is suitable for any person working in the food industry from bar staff to chefs, home carers to waitresses and people working in the retail sector dealing with fresh raw foods like butchers, bakers, fishmongers or deli counter operators.
