Over the year you will build a portfolio of evidence and gain skills that will help you to get your dream job as cabin crew. You will learn through theory, practical classes (including practising the role of cabin crew in our mock cabin crew room), completing projects, role plays, case studies, work experience and visits to industry.
At Brooklands College we have a team of dedicated, experienced staff with vast travel industry experience. Our students enjoy classes in our dedicated tourism and cabin crew rooms. Over the duration of your course you will learn everything you need to know to have a successful start in industry.
Depending on your choice of course you will study various units such as Retail Travel, Travel Destinations, Resort Reps, Cabin Crew, Cruise and you may even learn to speak some Spanish!
You will also participate in GCSE or Functional Skills re-sit for English and/or Maths if you achieved lower than a 4 in your GCSE exams.
How long does it last?
You will be required to pay £130 for visits. You will also be required to purchase a cabin crew uniform. There are two optional residential trips (UK & Overseas). Your tutor will provide details of these at the start of the course.
Students are allocated a certain amount of free printing, after which a small fee will be incurred.
5 GCSE passes including 2 GCSE at grade 4 and above or for progressing student’s successful achievement of a level 1 vocational qualification with excellent attendance to all areas of study.
Following successful completion of this course you can progress onto the City & Guilds level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism.
