About this course

You will learn occupation or industry-specific specialist skills for your industry at College and will need to demonstrate evidence of your achievement and ability to work in your chosen occupation or industry.

Industry placements are a mandatory part of the T Level qualification, and you will complete a minimum of 45 days. This will enable you to gain valuable industry skills that employers are looking for to support with your next steps onto high levels of study or into employment.

What will the course involve?

Industry placements are a mandatory part of the T Level qualification, and you will complete a minimum of 45 days. This will enable you to gain valuable industry skills that employers are looking for to support with your next steps onto high levels of study or into employment. 

You will study the following across the two years including but not limited to;

• The Current and Emerging Digital Technologies that are Impacting on Business Environments

• Application of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Technologies

• Using Digital Technologies to Analyse and Solve Problems

• Legal and Regulatory Requirements Relating to Digital Technologies

• Testing Software, Hardware and Data

• Internet Security

• Digital Tools for Project Management

• Confidentiality and Privacy of Personal Data

What qualifications will I need?

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4, including both English and Maths, and ideally grade 9-4 in GCSE Computer Science.
