DESCRIPTION:The Engineering department at Brooklands College has a formidable reputation and boasts some of the best practical training facilities to be found in the UK. Our industry standard facilities will allow you to experience the pathways of: Manufacturing\, Motor Vehicle and Motorsport. \nEngineering is vital to the long-term sustainability of the UK’s economy. The UK Government\, working in partnership with Engineering UK\, aims to continually increase job opportunities in this field.  Our technical courses have been developed in partnership with employers to ensure students are learning the skills they require for the industry and we are excited to launch a T Level in September 2024. \nWith our exceptional links to employers we have been selected to offer the Maintenance\, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing T Level at Level 3 and a foundation year at Level 2 for those looking to progress onto the full T Level. T Levels are equivalent to 3 A levels and focus on technical skills that help students get into skilled employment\, higher study or apprenticeships. \nOur Engineering Showcase Event will inform you about career pathways and the courses you should take to get there!
