Brooklands Technical College has been one of Surrey’s largest further education and HE providers since 1951. Since opening its doors, Weybridge has been our flagship campus across all technical courses. Our Ashford campus opened in 2016, supporting a selection of courses including our Electrical T Level and adult courses for ESOL, GCSE maths and English. Alongside this, Brooks Hair & Beauty Salon located in Ashford high street continues to be our high-quality training salon for Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, as well as servicing the local community with styling and treatments.

Where are they now?

The Media industry is notorious for that great buzz of excitement and creative opportunities. Getting behind the camera and working in the studio were former student Thomas Parker’s ambitions and he has progressed onto a successful career with many accomplishments.

Thomas studied Level 2 & Level 3 Media at Brooklands College during 2009-2012. He now proudly holds the title of Camera Operator and Studio Technician at Media First.

Coming to a new country with little or no understanding of the local language is a tough challenge for any foreign individual. Valeria D. Torok arrived in the UK from Hungary in 2012 and needed to improve her English language skills, which is where Brooklands Technical College came into play. After studying an ESOL course at Brooklands, Valeria has proudly written her first children’s book titled ‘Mouse Tales’ which is now published and available to purchase from bookstores and online.
