We are proud members of Good for Me Good for FE
Brooklands Technical College is a proud partner of Good for Me Good for FE, a national network of over 150 further education colleges working together to drive community action. By participating in our volunteering and social action projects, you contribute directly to a nationwide effort that has generated millions of pounds in social value.
Through this initiative, your volunteering hours aren’t just appreciated, they are formally recognised. You will have the opportunity to earn national Changemaker accreditations (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), giving you externally validated evidence of the incredible teamwork, resilience and leadership skills you’ve built to showcase on future applications.
How it works
Enrichment is built to flex around your lessons. Most activities take place during lunchtime or immediately after college, ensuring you can participate without missing a single minute of your course.
- Student-led clubs: Don’t see a club that interests you? If you or a group of friends want to start a new society, whether it’s a coding club or a college newspaper, the Inclusion team will help you set it up.
- Enrichment Fair: At the start of the autumn term, we host an Enrichment Fair where you can meet club leaders, chat with local volunteer organisations and sign up for the activities that catch your eye.
