Additional Learning Support

Our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team works with learners to understand their individual needs and provide support that promotes independence, confidence and achievement throughout their time at college. Learners who have a neurodivergence, disability, or a health condition are encouraged to let us know so we can provide the right support. This can be shared at the point of application, during enrolment, or at any stage throughout the academic year.

Bursary & Financial Support

A college bursary is free financial help for those who are eligible, to support your studies that you never have to pay back. It’s designed to help cover the everyday costs of coming to college if your household income is low or you need extra financial support. Depending on your situation, a bursary can help cover:

Bus or train fare
Free College Meals
Specialist equipment, uniform or course textbooks.
Childcare support

You can also access counselling, emergency essentials and a safe, welcoming space for drop-in support at both campuses.
