Course overview

Equivalent in size to 3 A Levels, this 2-year course has been developed with employers to ensure the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work. Within this course, you will develop a range of skills that are required to enter a range of digital occupations.

You will also take part in a 45 day work placement (a minimum of 315 hours) to build industry experience and gain practical insights into the sector, giving learners the opportunity to embed their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom.

The minimum  entry requirements for this course includes 4 GCSEs (grade 4-9) including English and maths or a Level 2 T Level (Foundation year) in Digital Software Development. Those who do not achieve a grade 4 in English or maths will be required to study this alongside their course.

With a substantial industry placement of around 45 days, you have an amazing opportunity to work with an employer while you study, which may progress to employment upon attainment of this qualification.
