Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Science

Course overview
Our Science T Level is a 2-year programme, developing your core knowledge and skills required for a range of careers in the scientific field. You will complete the Level 2 T Level Foundation Qualification in Science in your first year of learning, progressing onto the Level 3 once you have completed this course.
All T Levels are a blend of learning with 80% taking place in the classroom and 20% in an industry placement (minimum 45 days). You won’t just be learning about science, you’ll gain the necessary tools to understand and influence the world around you.
To qualify for this course, you will need a minimum of: 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (including English and maths) or a Level 2 T Level in Science.

All of this will take place in our fully refurbished science laboratories using the latest technology and industry-level facilities, brand-new for 2025!
During this course, you will complete a 45 day work placement in a laboratory or health care environment, gaining real-world experience and gaining the opportunity to practise your technical skills.
You will be assessed through practical assessments and written exams. You will also be asked to complete an employer set project during your placement.
Career Pathways
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners can continue their education at university as this course is awarded UCAS points. Learners can also find employment opportunities as a laboratory technician or science technician.
