Course overview

Aimed at 16-18 year old school leavers, the Level 3 T Level Qualification in Health aims to prepare learners for the health and social care industry. You will complete a 45-day work placement with an employer after developing your skills for clinical practice. You will then complete an employer-set project to gain experience and further develop your knowledge of human anatomy, professional care and health and wellbeing.

To qualify for this course, you will need a minimum of: 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (including English, maths and a science) or a Level 2 T Level in Health. You will also need a Disclosure and Barring Service check when you start the course.

  • Complete a 45 day work placement where you will gain an real-world insight into the industry
  • You will be assessed through an employer set project, alongside practical and written exams.


    What you'll need

    Due to the nature of this course, you will be required to purchase a Disclosure and Barring Service check at the beginning of this course, advice and guidance on this service will be provided at enrolment. 

    You will be allocated a certain amount of free printing, after which a small fee will be incurred. You can purchase more printing credits on our online store, which can be found here.


    Career Pathways

    Upon successful completion of this course, students can progress into higher education at university, or can choose to step straight into employment through entry-level roles in the health and care industry. The required 45-day work placement also provides students with a prime opportunity to secure a job directly with their employer.
