Level 2 Certificate in Barbering

This course is designed to provide learners with the essential skills and knowledge to work as a Barber or freelance stylist. Learners will explore the techniques and skills required to cut, colour, perm and shape men’s hairstyles and facial hair. You will gain key experience in working to industry standards, from analysing client’s skin and scalp to learning new cutting and colouring techniques.

There are no entry requirements for this course but students will benefit from a good level of English comprehension and dexterity.

Fees for this course only apply to adults who do not qualify for government funding. Every applicant will be assessed before enrolment on their funding availability.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will gain the essential skills and knowledge required to work as a Barber. Students may also be interested in progressing onto a Level 3 advanced technical diploma in barbering or applying for an apprenticeship.
