Level 3 NCFE Travel & Tourism Extended Diploma
Begin your career in travel and tourism with our exciting, hands-on course. You will train in cabin crew, event management and resort operations and gain real-world work experience by hosting exhibitions and charity events.
Course overview
The Level 3 extended diploma is a two year course and designed for those who have a keen interest in the Travel and Tourism sector.
During the extended diploma, you will gain hands-on experience by hosting a travel exhibition and work as a Resort Representative during a residential trip. You will cover a wide range of units such as Conference and Events, UK Airports and Cabin Crew. Develop your interpersonal skills by leading a guided tour in London and organising and hosting a charity event.
To qualify for this course, you will need a minimum of: 2 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (including English and maths) and a Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

This course is assessed through a portfolio of coursework that you will curate throughout your course.
What you'll need
Students are required to purchase and wear a set uniform, this includes a scarf and badge which can be purchased for £15. Students are responsible for providing their own shirts and skirts or trousers. Upon enrolment, you will be advised on how and where to purchase any uniform you may need.
Students are also allocated a certain amount of free printing, after which a small fee will be incurred. You can purchase more printing credits on our online store, which can be found here.
There are also a variety of trips that are scheduled throughout the year, more information on the costs of these trips can be discussed at enrolment.
Career Pathways
After successfully completing your course, you can progress to a higher level of study at University or explore the progression opportunities into full-time or part-time work. Career paths include: cabin crew, airport/airline customer service, events manager, guest services, resort representative or marketing executive.
