Course overview
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals new to accounting. It focuses on practical application, enabling learners to grasp bookkeeping principles and develop valuable skills that are directly relevant to their daily roles.
- Ages 16–18: Applicants without a Grade 4 in English and maths will be required to study Functional Skills during the program.
- Ages 19+: Adults are exempt from studying Functional Skills, subject to employer agreement.

What you'll need
Guidance on any equipment or uniform required for this role will be provided by your employer. At the college, you will be allocated a certain amount of free printing, after which a small fee will be incurred. You can purchase more printing credits on our online store, which can be found here.
Career Pathways
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be interested in continuing your education at university or you may wish to progress onto a level 3 qualification. Many apprentices will also continue their education and employment through their apprenticeship employer.
