This course will enable you to reach full accounting technician status.  You will be able to study units including: taxation, managing systems, drafting financial statements and management accounts.  Optional units will also help you to specialise in the area of accounting you are most interested in.

What will the course involve?

The Level 4 Diploma is made up of 4 compulsory units plus 2 out of 4 optional units. Each unit includes both knowledge of accounting principles plus practical application.

Suitability

This course is suitable for students already working in accounts at an accounts assistant level and above who wish to gain a recognised professional qualification to help progress their career.

This course is a total of 54 weeks.

 36 weeks in Year 1 and 17 weeks in Year 2

Additional Costs


Text books will be advised at the start of the course. These are ordered and paid for by the student but we have the benefit of a discount with the main suppliers. Costs in the region of £85- £90.

Students will have to enrol with the AAT at the start of the course. This currently costs £131.

Each student will receive a print allowance at the start of their course, should they require additional printing beyond this limit, they will be charged.

All students will be subject to a £25 registration fee per academic year.
