SEND & Transition

If you have a learning difficulty, disability or educational need, the SEND team at Brooklands College offers a range of challenging educational programmes. 

All our courses have been designed to meet the needs and abilities of the learner. Programmes include a range of nationally recognised qualifications and offer pathways to further study, employment or independent living.

Many of our courses give students the opportunity to experience vocational areas which may include Art and Design, Media, Hair & Beauty, Care, Catering, Engineering and Business.

SEND Surrey, Local Offer

There are many services throughout the county that can offer support to parents and people aged 25 and under with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). To find out more about services in the Surrey area visit the Surrey Local Offer website an online HUB.

Transition into College Life

Brooklands College works closely with schools and parents to transition students into college who may find the move daunting. This could be due to their learning difficulty/disability or could be as a result of other adverse life experiences that interrupted their education.
