Application Process

  • If your child is currently on school roll, please discuss the application with the school beforehand. The school will be responsible for submitting the application form. We will liaise with the school prior to the interview and a member of staff will also be invited to attend the interview.
  • If your child has an EHCP, please ensure that a copy of the current EHCP is submitted by the caseworker to EHCP@brooklands.ac.uk. We will not be able to process the application until this has been received.
  • Please follow this link and select the appropriate form.

The Y10/11 team will contact you on receipt of the application. Students (and parents) will be invited to attend Brooklands for an interview. These will be scheduled to take place from January onwards and will provide students and parents with an opportunity to:

  • find out more about the course and the college.
  • inform the college of any known behavioural or other needs. This is to ensure that the young person is placed on the correct course, can be kept safe and has the correct support in place. A risk assessment will be drawn up if appropriate.

Courses are very popular and places are offered on a first come first served basis. For courses that are oversubscribed, we will maintain a waiting list and contact parents should a place become available in September/mid October. We will not be able to admit students after this cut off date.
