About this course
This level 2 Diploma is the start of our two year Aircraft Maintenance program. It is for the students who want to work in the aeronaultical engineering sector across a range of roles and career routes.
Duration: 1 Year

Where will I be studying?
The Brooklands name has a long association with the engineering industry and we’re very proud to continue the tradition through our wide range of engineering courses in well-equipped workshops.
Our excellent engineering facilities comprise several workshops including Aeroplane hangar (including a helicopter rig!) computer facilities and study areas.

What modules are covered?
- Electrical Fundamentals and Theory of Flight
- Human Factors.
Who is the course suitable for?
Ideal for new entrants into the aviation field who want to work in the aeronaultical engineering sector. The learners would benefit from a good grasp of mathematics and scientific principles.
How is the course assessed?
Assessment is through tests, some of which will be online.

What qualifications will I need?
5 GCSE passes at Grade 4 and above, ideally including English and maths or a pass grade in Level 2 Core Engineering Diploma

Next Steps
Prepares students for entry into an aircraft apprenticeship (into the hangar or industry workshops) or continue their training onto a level 3 course.
