The course is suited to individuals who want to gain a beginner’s qualification in photography, seeking to develop their photography skills and/or who are interested in beginning a career in this industry.

What will the course involve?
The course covers two mandatory units which are internally assessed: -
- Use a camera to capture creative images
- Digital image manipulation.
Learners will:
- gain the knowledge to use a camera correctly and safely to take photographs.
- gain the skills to be able to manipulate digital images using software to review and enhance the quality of their final images.
- gain an understanding of legal and ethical considerations relating to photography.
