Construction Keeps Winning!

The success of the Construction department continued this term with wins at the FIS skills #iBuiltThis18 competition at the NEC, Birmingham.

In the 14-18 year olds category, Naomi Hamilton came first and Henry Overton was the runner-up, whilst Tyler Pearce and Luke Neville came second and third, respectively, in the 19+ category.

Head of Construction, Christian Hatherall-Good was very proud of all the students who are Lee Marley apprentices. The department has grown from 96 students in 2012 to around 250 this year whilst expansion to the Weybridge workshop took place over the summer to accomodate these impressive numbers.

Christian has worked hard to ensure Brooklands College is well known in the building industry, building links with companies and sponsors.
