About this course

Are you looking to gain a professional accounting qualification in a reduced time period?  Fast Track AAT courses are now available at Brooklands, meaning you can complete your level 2 Certificate in only 24 or 30 weeks.

This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.

Most students will start with this qualification.

You will work through the units online and receive assessments as you progress.

What will the course involve?

The certificate level is made up of 5 units which each include both knowledge of accounting principles plus practical application.

Processing Bookkeeping Transactions

• Principals of recording and processing financial transactions
• Preparing and recording financial documentation
• Processing ledger transactions and extracting a trial balance

Control Accounts, journals and the banking system

• Maintaining and recording the cash book
