Level 2 T Level Foundation Year in Education and Childcare

About this course

The Foundation Year to Education and Childcare course is designed for those that are looking to progress on to a T Level programme but do not yet meet the entry requirements.  You will be supported to:

• Develop Industry Relevant Practical Skills and Technical Knowledge 
• Engage in Relevant Industry Work Experience 
• Develop Industry-relevant English, Maths and Digital Skills
• Develop Employability Skills, Attitudes, Confidence and Behaviours
• Learn Effective Skills for Successful Study
   

What will the course involve?

• On-the-job training on work placements within Early Years settings
• NEW T Level qualification introduced, combining the best of a work placement and onsite learning at College
• Strong well-established employer links within the childcare sector

What qualifications will I need?

The minimum entry requirements for this course includes GCSE English and maths (grade 3-4) or Level 2 Functional Skills. Those who do not achieve a grade 4 in English or maths will be required to study this alongside their course.
