
This course is suitable for those wanting a career in construction, particularly in electrical installation.
The T Level contains two components, the core content and occupational specialism (Electrotechnical Engineering). The learning is a combination of practical and theory, so that you can develop your skills in research, problem solving, solution-development, communication and collaboration. You will also further develop your English, Maths and Digital skills. You will apply your knowledge and skills through an industry placement and gain real-world experience to support with your next steps into employment or on to higher levels of study.
The occupational specialism will support you to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviors needed to work within the electrotechnical occupation.
The T Level will include a minimum of 315 hours of learning on industry placement (45 days).
The T Level Technical Qualification in Building Services Engineering for Construction allows learners to gain an understanding of the BSE industry and the sector.
This qualification is aimed at learners aged 16-19-years old who wish to work within the Building Services Engineering Industry.
You’ll then move onto study the Electrotechnical pathway in more detail through occupational specialism. This is where you can get deeper into specific aspects of the subject, developing and practising the skills needed for an occupation.

To qualify for this course, you will need a minimum of: 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (including English and a science or design-related subject). A minimum of grade 5 in GCSE maths is required.
