About this course

Our SEND School Link programme is designed to provide students with special educational needs and disabilities the opportunity to experience a range of vocational subjects in a supportive college environment. Delivered in partnership with local schools, this programme helps students build confidence, develop practical skills and explore future pathways.

Students attend once a week with their school contacts and take part in a structured carousel of vocational subjects. Each subject is studied for three weeks before moving on to the next, allowing learners to experience a broad range of career areas.

Please note: Applications must be submitted by the designated school contact. We are unable to accept applications directly from parents or carers.

Facilities

Where will I be studying?

Opening in 2027, all SEND programmes will be taught in our newly constructed SEND facility, also known as the Vickers Building.

Our specialist facilities include quiet study areas and time out rooms. We can also provide support with medical requirements and we provide personal facilities where available. We also support tailored learning, where lessons will always accomodate different styles of learning and abilities for each student.
