About this course
Our provision includes:
- Small group provision
- Wrap-around pastoral, safeguarding and wellbeing support
- Specialist facilities including quiet study areas and time out rooms
- Support with medical requirements and personal facilities where available

Facilities
Where will I be studying?
Opening in 2027, all SEND programmes will be taught in our newly constructed SEND facility, also known as the Vickers Building.
Our specialist facilities include quiet study areas and time out rooms. We can also provide support with medical requirements and we provide personal facilities where available. We also support tailored learning, where lessons will always accomodate different styles of learning and abilities for each student.
Course Details
What modules are covered?
As part of preparation for adulthood, all students will have the option to select 2 vocational subject areas which will form part of their qualification. These sessions either take place in our dedicated SEND facility, or across our campus workshops and departmental areas:
- Art & Design
- Catering
- Driving Theory
- Engineering
- Hair & Beauty
- Health & Social Care
- Media
- Sport
In addition to the main vocational options, students are offered additional units to help with their social development including:
- Independent living
- Employability skills
- Community access
- Functional Skills (English and maths)
Entry Requirements
What qualifications will I need?
There are no formal qualifications required for this course.
Progression
There are a variety of courses and levels for students to progress on to within our Foundation Pathways programme as well as progression to full-time courses within the college or other education environments.
