Brooklands College are excited to announce that Family Voice Surrey will be holding their Preparing for Adulthood Event at the College on April 27th. The event  is held in association with SEND Youth Advisors Surrey and SEND Surrey and is an opportunity for young people and their families to find out about support for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) options for education, routes to employment, independent and supported living, keeping healthy and being involved in your local community.

The event is aimed at young people aged 11-25 and their families, will all key information to help plan for the future under one roof. 

• Hear success stories from young people and their families about what worked for them
• National and local Surrey speakers on key issues including SEND legal rights and responsibilities, benefits, grants and support options
• Large market place of education, housing, health and community services and advisors
• Free parking and easy access by public transport
• Wheelchair accessible facilities, changing place toilet
• Quiet zone
• Refreshments and free entertainment for all the family!
