If you want to work supporting other people and have a desire to help others improve their quality of life, then a career in Health and Social Care may be the way forward. This qualification will provide you with an engaging insight into the Health and Social Care sector. You will have the opportunity to explore key themes such as development through the life stages, equality and rights and gain an understanding of the set of core values used within Health and Social Care. You will be able to develop a range of transferable, technical and practical skills, which you will have the opportunity to implement within realistic settings as part of your work placements.

This course will develop your knowledge of working in health, social care and young people’s settings.
This course is a total of 18 units of study which is equivalent to 3 A Levels, with a 1 day a week work placement requirement.
An apprenticeship in health and social care will develop your employability skills and give you valuable on the job experience.
The advanced apprenticeship will help to develop upon the skills that you have achieved through the Level 2 qualification.
