At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we will remember them. Brooklands College paused to remember, paying our respects to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Students and staff united in front of the Locke-King building, stood silent whilst our Public Services’ students gave a fitting tribute in standing to attention and equally having the chance to pay their respects. Wreaths containing personalised messages were laid by tutor groups, Public Services’ students Aaron Smith and Jack Williams, as well as Principal Gail Walker.
Lest we forget. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. We remember those who have gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
