We welcomed our final year BTEC students who were collecting their results before they set off for University courses, joining the world of employment or taking up an apprenticeship..
Among those collecting results were some of the successful students from the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science Forensic course. The course is very popular with students, especially since Brooklands College was the first in the UK to be endorsed by The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Celebrating today were:
Jaskiran Matharu (19) from Chessington was delighted to secure a place at the City of London University to study Speech and Language Therapy with D*D*D*. She said “I started at Level 2 and progressed to Level 3 with support from the tutors and fellow students. I have worked hard, and was encouraged all the way and am so happy.”
Lucy Adams (18) from Sunbury-on-Thames said that College had been “Exciting, emotional and one of the best experiences I have had.” She fell in love with the College and the course and achieved a D*D*D* and will be going to Kingston University to study Forensics Science.
Jared Bongcaras (18) from Chertsey said the whole experience had been great, due to the support of the amazing tutors. He was going to Anglian Ruskin University to study Crime Scene Investigations Studies.
Jamie Sinclair (17) from West Molesey achieved DDD and was looking forward to studying Forensic Science and Crime Investigation at University of Central Lancashire. He also paid tribute to the course tutors saying, “The course has many different elements, and Dale our tutor made them all so enjoyable.”
Just some of the successful students who have enjoyed their time at Brooklands College. If you are awaiting your GCSE results and still not sure what to do, come along next week August 23rd and 24th to our Advice and Guidance Enrolment days and you could be starting a course in September.
