This course follows the AQA English Language (8700) syllabus and is taught over 30 weeks from September 2024 until June 2025.

The course will be assessed by two exams in the summer of 2025.

What qualifications will I need?
Before enrolling, students are required to attend an interview to ensure they fulfil the suitability requirements which is normally a grade 3 (or legacy D grade) in GCSE English and Students with lower than grade 3 should study and successfully complete Functional Skills English up to Level 1 before progressing on this course.
The results achieved in the screening test will help to decide the most suitable point of entry for achieving your goal in English.

Fees for GCSE Maths and GCSE English only apply to adults who do not qualify for government funding.
