Hairdressing is a growing industry with new innovations in treatments, products and techniques. Successful hairdressers are always in demand and can take their pick from many jobs, such as working for magazines on photo shoots through to high street salon stylists. You need to be hard working and dedicated for this demanding profession. You will need an interest in people and have good communication skills. All students are expected to wear uniforms and present themselves in a professional manner as your practical work will be assessed in our commercial salons.

This is a Year 10 programme introducing the learner to the Hair & Beauty sector.
This course gives an introduction to the hair and beauty industry and will enable you to progress into the Level 2 certificate in Hairdressing or Beauty therapy.
A series of 12 week courses in Cutting or Colouring.
If you enjoy making people look and feel good then this is the career for you. This is a one year course that will include both practical and theory work in both Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy
This course will allow you to become a Barber working on the shop floor or as a freelance stylist
If you are just starting out in hairdressing or want to specialise, these courses are ideal.
All aspects of hairdressing including cutting, perming and dressing hair will be studied.
The programme is designed to teach a range of practical skills with both make-up and hair.
An apprenticeship in hairdressing will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience in hairdressing related activities.
