Whether you are learning a foreign language just for fun or improving your English in order to help you in every day life, our experienced tutors have been carefully chosen for their language expertise.  As well as their pleasant personalities they will support and encourage you to speak and understand the language you are learning and help you to improve your confidence through plenty of simple conversation right from the start.

English as a Foreign Language
English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses are ideal for you if you are from abroad and are working in the UK or if you are a foreign student studying in Great Britain.  The courses are also suitable for those hoping to go to a British university, au pairs and others wishing to improve their English.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
ESOL courses are intended for learners from other countries who are now living in the United Kingdom.  Some learners may, in time, intend to apply for British Citizenship.  In some cases learners may have received little formal education prior to coming to the UK.

ESOL classes offer help with practical English needed for everyday life and work such as:
Talking to the doctor or your child’s teacher
Meeting your neighbours
Returning to work or study
Filling in forms

All ESOL courses are accredited and lead to a Cambridge Skills for Life qualification in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
The ESOL classes will give you the skills and confidence needed to enable you to progress to other courses and are taught in small friendly classes so each student can achieve their individual aims.

Courses are available on Ashford and Weybridge Campus.
All exams can be taken at the college.
Day time classes are now available at Ashford Campus.
