Protean Electric

Last week, our Engineering students received a visit from a previous student, Stewart Jones, the Development Engineer at Protean Electric.

Protean Electric is the world leader of in-wheel motor technology for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and future transport solutions. Stewart explained how the technology has the ability to modify petrol or diesel vehicles with the option to run as electric vehicles.

With the ULEZ daily charge coming into effect in cities and surrounding areas soon, this solution could be invaluable to many.
