Introduction to GCSEs

This term we are trialling an introduction to GCSE Maths and English programme for our 16-19 learners. The course picks up where the Functional Skills ended in term 2 and develops the student’s core skills and confidence in preparation for joining a GCSE group next year.

The focus is on practical application of skills, rather than classroom based. Today in Maths the students have been working on area calculations. We have been enjoying the sunshine and taking learning outdoors.
