Each awarding body is looking at ways in which the qualifications can be awarded, and we will update you when we know more.
We will work with exam boards on contingency plans should this happen. The exam boards will take into account any unavoidable disruption.
We have prepared subject guides for all areas which include links to online resources and e-books. These should be available on Google classroom or through your tutor.
You shall receive payment of your meal allowance.

Brooklands College’s work experience, industry placement and supported internships have formally been suspended until further notice.
The Work Placement Team will continue to work with employers in order to plan and support future work placement activity.

Brooklands College careers & employability events have been postponed or cancelled until May 2020.
We offer a wide range of virtual opportunities to continue engagement, including virtual communication with our careers advisor in order to plan for future events and to support young people with their progression to further study, apprenticeships and employment.

Apprentices are advised to follow the guidance being given at their workplace and to speak to their line managers about workplace procedures. If they have any concerns they should discuss them with their line manager or assessor.
We are working closely with employers to address any specific concerns, however, we will be continuing to conduct virtual visits and progress reviews where this is possible.
We are also considering specific consequences of time away from an apprenticeship and will update apprentices and employers as required.
Apprentices who usually attend College will be contacted directly by their curriculum delivery team to discuss next steps.
